Geographical experience: Sub-Saharan Africa, Asia and Latin America.
I am a leader and coach who is passionate about promoting effective collaboration along the research, development and private sector continuum. I believe this is key to achieving my career objective of contributing to improving people’s lives by addressing sustainable resource use and promoting business value chains. This is especially true for the highly marginalized communities that depend on livestock for a livelihood in the arid and semi-arid lands.
My training and research is in Animal Sciences, World Animal Production and Range Management. I have also developed extensive skills in Research Methods and Program Management.
